From the Desk of Wade

I find myself slowing down in a way December always seems to invite. The pace softens, the air cools, and there is a collective pause that reminds us what truly matters.

For me, the holidays are less about the calendar and more about gratitude.

I am deeply thankful for my family. For my husband Jeff, our daughter Harlow, and our ever-loyal pup Bill. This year also holds a tender note of remembrance as we honor the memory of Sport, who brought so much joy, comfort, and personality into our lives. Anyone who has loved a dog knows how permanently they imprint themselves on your heart. Sport will always be part of ours.

At the Giles Group, we spend our days immersed in homes, but what we are really part of is people’s lives. First keys. Last boxes. New chapters. Quiet transitions. It is a privilege we never take lightly. Every client who trusts us with such a meaningful moment reminds us why we do this work with care, intention, and heart.

This year, we are especially grateful for the relationships that have grown alongside the business. Our clients, referral partners, friends, and extended community continue to inspire us with their kindness, loyalty, and trust. We are equally thankful for our incredible team whose dedication, professionalism, and thoughtfulness shape every experience we deliver.

The holidays also offer a moment to look beyond ourselves. We are reminded that home is not just a place, but a feeling created through generosity, connection, and compassion.
