Our Equestrian experience

Wade is a native Texan who grew up in a family who shared a love for horses. As such, it was no surprise when Wade's first sentence was "I go see horses."

Since first stepping foot into a barn at an early age, Wade's dreams were clear and unwavering. Wade aspired to one day own and show a horse at the highest level of competition. After more than three decades, his dream finally came true in 2020 when he won his first World’s Championship title with his beloved horse, Sherlock, who today remains his muse and continues to serve as a catalyst for shaping Wade into the consummate real estate professional he is today.

Caring for horses has taught Wade life lessons that he carries each day in his personal and professional life. Wade’s work ethic, respect of others, and nurturing demeanor are just a few of the qualities he attributes to growing up a “horse kid.”

Today, Wade stands as a beacon for aspiring equestrians. He understands the nuances of what horse owners and equine enthusiasts seek when searching for their ideal home. His journey as an owner, breeder, and competitor has equipped him with not only with a deep domain expertise of equestrian ranches, but a unique and sensitive perspective shared among fellow equestrians.

For Wade, horses are not just a passion; they are a way of life. His expertise and experience make him an invaluable guide in his client’s quest for "greener pastures." With Wade, you're not just finding a place for your horses; you're embarking on a journey with someone who has lived and breathed the equestrian dream and knows what it takes to turn dreams into reality.

When Jeffrey is not in front of his computer, you'll likely find him in the barn or across the globe attending equestrian events. Over the span of more than four decades, Jeffrey has immersed himself in the world of animals, but it's horses that have always held a special place in his heart. His journey began at the age of 10 when he owned his first Arabian horse and has evolved into a lifelong commitment, including ownership, showing, and breeding numerous World’s Champions and Nationally ranked show horses alongside his husband, Wade Giles.

In 2013, Jeffrey's connection with horses deepened after the loss of one of their prized horses to colic. As an accomplished equestrian, biomedical engineer, and successful healthcare entrepreneur, Jeffrey channeled his grief into innovation. He conceptualized and brought to market the NIGHWATCH® smart halter™, the world's first predictive-health wearable for horses that serves as an early-warning system for pain and distress.

Today, Jeffrey plays a pivotal role as the CFO/COO for the Giles Group, continues to spearhead transformative equine health and safety solutions for Protequus®, and serves on the board for three animal health companies. It's Jeffrey's profound operational expertise, financial acumen, and relentless optimism that sets him apart, making him a unique and invaluable asset for all clients of the Giles Group.
